MORE ABOUT US

Founding Story

Vector was founded in 2024 by former Tier 1 special operators and defense technology experts who experienced firsthand how rapidly modern warfare is evolving—and how often technology fails to keep pace with the realities of the battlefield. After years operating at the tip of the spear, they recognized a critical gap: warfighters were being asked to solve next-generation problems with outdated, fragmented, and slow-to-adapt systems.

Vector was built to close that gap.

From its inception, the company has been driven by a singular mission: to ensure the United States, its partners, and its allies maintain decisive technological superiority in an increasingly complex and contested battlespace. Grounded in real-world operational experience, Vector takes a fundamentally different approach—prioritizing speed, integration, and mission-driven design over legacy processes.

Following its founding, Vector quickly gained momentum—raising its seed round in 2024 and scaling from a team of just nine operators to nearly 100 employees within its first two years. In mid-2025, the company relocated its headquarters to Salt Lake City, Utah, and began its transition from a pure integration company to a fully vertically integrated defense manufacturer. This evolution was accelerated by the close of its Series A in 2025, led by Pelion, enabling Vector to rapidly expand its manufacturing, engineering, and deployment capabilities.

Utah was a deliberate choice. With a business-friendly government, a rapidly growing aerospace and defense ecosystem, and access to world-class talent, it provided the ideal foundation to build the next generation of American attritable defense prime.

Today, Vector stands at the forefront of defense innovation, developing and integrating advanced s-UAS capabilities that evolve as quickly as the threats they are built to defeat. By combining rapid iteration, vertically integrated manufacturing, and direct feedback from operators, Vector delivers systems that provide overwhelming combat power and unparalleled situational awareness at the tactical edge.

More than a technology company, Vector is a mission-driven partner to the warfighter—committed to delivering asymmetric advantages, accelerating capability to the field, and ensuring those on the front lines are always equipped to dominate tomorrow’s fight.
